Frequently Asked Questions

A camping site in a forest with a large brown tent, several smaller tents, and colorful decorations, surrounded by tall evergreen trees. A sign on a tree reads "CAMPING #INTENTS, ONLY."

paradise is a multi-stage experience. What does that mean?

Creating a unique, curated, boutique, safe, and inclusive experience is our #1 priority at Paradise. Each year, the theme and music programming change, bringing something completely new to discover, from the music and lighting to the art, live performances and atmosphere.

Our main stage is powered by the only full PK Sound rig in the Yukon, delivering world-class sound under the midnight sun.

In 2024, we introduced a second stage (think Boiler Room, but in a dome!) for more intimate sets and late-night magic featuring both local and out-of-town artists.

All Weekend and Saturday Pass holders have access to both stages.

I’m a DJ or performance Artist and want to perform at Paradise. What do I do?

🎧 DJ applications for 2026 will open February 1, 2026.

🔥 Flow artist and performance artist applications open March 16, 2026.

We are looking for dancers, fire spinners, hula-hoopers, flow artists, aerialists, roaming acts, circus performers, and unique live performance acts.

How are DJs/Artists selected for Paradise?

Paradise is a registered non-profit with a Board of Directors and an Artist Selection Committee as part of the Board. The responsibility of that committee is to objectively review, discuss and vote on who plays at Paradise. The committee evaluates every applicant on the following criteria (in no particular order):

  • Genre played and the mix of that genre with the festival's programming overall eg. we can't have 10 DnB DJs, etc.

  • Skill

  • Performance experience

  • If they are developing artist or newcomer to the Paradise stage

  • Location

  • Artist fee

  • Representation

  • Positive contribution to the community

  • Music production and DJ producers and creators (to a lesser extent, but it’s considered)
