Volunteer for Paradise 2026

Paradise Music Festival wouldn’t be possible without our volunteer team. Each year, 50–60 volunteers help bring the festival to life. from arrival and setup to harm reduction, cleanup, and everything in between.

There are also opportunities to get involved throughout the year through events and community initiatives.

2026 Volunteer applications open April 16

The 2026 festival runs from Friday, August 7th, to the morning of Sunday, August 9th, and we’re looking for dedicated volunteers to join us.

What you need to know

Volunteer Ticket Deposit

  • All volunteers are required to purchase a Weekend Festival Pass at whatever price is available at the time of purchase.

  • The full cost will be reimbursed after the festival once you complete your eight hours of volunteering (two 4-hour shifts)

  • If purchasing a ticket is a barrier to volunteering, please reach out to volunteers@paradisemusicfestival.ca for assistance, and we’ll work with you.

Time Commitment

  • All volunteers must complete two (2) four-hour shifts, for a total of 8 hours of volunteering.

  • This helps ensure everyone has time to both contribute and experience the festival.

What Happens After I Apply?

  • May 14 – Applications close

  • May 22 – All applicants are contacted

  • June 5 – Deadline to confirm your spot. After this, any open spots will be filled from the waitlist.

  • June 26 – Volunteer shifts are released

We do our best to match volunteers with their preferred roles and timing. That said, assignments are based on the festival's overall needs, and not everyone will receive their first choice.

Where possible, we aim to schedule:

  • One daytime shift

  • One evening shift

A volunteer Facebook group will also be created on June 26, where you can connect and coordinate shift swaps if needed.

Mandatory Orientation

All volunteers are required to attend one orientation session.

  • Primary Orientation + BBQ: Wednesday, August 5 (evening)

This is the main session where you’ll meet your team, receive your schedule, and review key festival information. Food will be provided.

  • Backup Orientation: Monday, August 3

    (No food provided)

Please make every effort to attend one of these sessions.

If you’re unable to attend either, contact the volunteer coordinator as soon as possible.
